About Your Workout

Hi Kelly! Checkin in to bring us up to date. I've been doing really well staying focused and on task, I've had a good month of consistent workouts, sticking to 6 days a week! I've been working extra hard on abs this month including some core work every day. I'm seeing positive results and it inspires me to keep at it! Just as missing workouts can become habit keeping up daily with them is the best habit! As you suggested actually putting my workout in my daily calendar reminds me all day long to fit it in, and some days it's actually 9 or 10 o'clock at nite but I'm getting it done. Thanks for checking in with me when I don't! You put the personal in personal training 🙂 Tty soon.... Beth

Hi Kelly! I don't remember the last time I checked in so that tells me it's been way too long. Life changing things going on here. Selling our home, looking for another, honestly it's become a second career! We've decided on a fixed upper that also needs an addition so free moments during this stressful process are a premium. That being said my workouts have been compromised. A good week is 3 days! But most weeks have been 2. I'm happy that April has my favorite Barre back and I do love my April Abs challenge. My hope is to be better to myself this month and get back to 5 days and never less than 4 on my crazy weeks. Also to check in at least weekly with you because you've always inspired me to keep accountable. Happy Spring! Talk soon ... Beth

Hi Kelly! I don't remember the last time I checked in so that tells me it's been way too long. Life changing things going on here. Selling our home, looking for another, honestly it's become a second career! We've decided on a fixed upper that also needs an addition so free moments during this stressful process are a premium. That being said my workouts have been compromised. A good week is 3 days! But most weeks have been 2. I'm happy that April has my favorite Barre back and I do love my April Abs challenge. I just got my ring in the mail today, so I tried core foundations with Ring first. I was ok with the crunches in the very beginning, but when I tried to lift my legs of the ground for the next exercises, I had pain in my back. And also when doing the reverse and roll ups.
Next, I did Barre, and that was fine!! Heard work but I didn't have any back pain.

About Your Workout

I did pilates mat and core foundations. I felt sensitivity in my lower back during the T's, and most times when I'm making a V with my body. I'm guessing it may be that my core is weak? When you get a chance, can i try going one intensity level down? Thanks so much!

Hi Kelly 🙂 I had another good consistent week and happy to still be in my routine. I'm definitely feeling it in my lower body and abs. So here's my week! Sun- Barre/Booty, Mon- Pilates/SculptCardio, Tues- Barre/75 squats/April abs, Wed- Booty/Core Foundation, Thurs- Cardio Sculpt, Fri- Booty/Core Foundation and Sat- Off day. Hi I did my 5k this morning. I paced myself. It's much easier doing it without someone by my side or a friend that I have to "run with" . It took me 48 mins and 26 sec. I remember looking at a number. Not that it's important to me it just an idea. Came home did some stretching on the video and worked with the foam roller and did that video.

Yesterday, Saturday I did a video I did a barre video it was easy for me to do while I was with Mikaela. I went to start a stretching video with that but got interrupted. It's been a busy weekend.
My right elbow and both my wrists/thumbs are having flare ups and very tight. Will be using hand braces for the week.
Going grocery shopping later to prepare for the week.

Hi Kelly! Happy New Year! I survived the crazy season the best I could. My workout schedule was inconsistent as I tried for 5 days a week I usually did 4 and only 3 a couple of wks. I'm back on track this month tho, like my barre, booty and core videos. I'm on board with the January challenge and also doing a 31 day Bulletproof challenge, it's a good reset even if you've only gone slightly off path. I'm better when challenged, it keeps me regimented . Talk soon... Beth 🙂

Continue Saturday:
3 sets of 25 push-ups on the kitchen counter.
Stretch video

Sunday: I went on a hike this morning! It was about 6 miles round trip

Food: Shake, plain ick kefir, 2 eggs over medium, 3 strips bacon, strawberries, grilled chicken sandwich lettuce wrap, avocado, onion, pico de gallo. I ate half because I am funny about my chicken 🙂

Good morning! It's Saturday and I thought I'd check in as I am making myself a promise to do so and be accountable.
Friday my right hip was definitely needing a good stretch after Thursday's workout. It was hard to sit. My arms and shoulders were sore but the regular "workout" sore. I did some hip stretching. I went to my friend's house and did some tap dancing practice. Then we used the stretchy bands to stretch out our calves.
Friday: protein shake, cup of Plain (ick ;-)) kefir, lettuce wrap burger from Habit with; avocado, pickles, and onion. Cup of plain kefir, and for dinner a disgusting salad that I threw out. It tasted like soap.

Saturday so far: I am about to do a workout video. Probably one that is not a lot of legs.

So far: Protein shake, cup of icky plain kefir

Hi Kelly:) I'm gonna try to catch up w you in as few words as possible. Crazy October with work (election) so I did the best I could with travel . My month consisted of the October Booty (missed a couple days) and my only videos were Barre, Booty and Core that I did pretty much every other day. Def on track for November, I've done al 9 videos with my plan being to do 3 each day in the order you have them displayed. Today I'm at the top again with Barre, Core and Barre Ring. I'm also along on the Carb Challenge , I try to follow this routinely but have been known to stray! So this will keep me focused and accountable. Wondering what your suggested number is for carb grams during this challenge? I've been awful at checking in so I'll def get back to good on this and touch base at least weekly. So thankful for your knowledge and support! Tty soon... Beth

Hi Kelly 🙂 Good Thursday, this afternoon I started with Butt/Thigh then Core Foundation. Had some early eve. appointments and afterwards did Sculpt/Tone. I'm definitely getting better at this one! I'd say I'm 75% of the way their and think I can get the rest of the way there before the end if the month! Tty over the wkend.... Beth
